Today we have a mixed bag. I have an example of outstanding media coverage of a growth issue, but – because of that excellent reporting, we also were treated to a phalanx of snotty responses. Rush Limbaugh tops the list of ugly and ignorant critics of this news, and we’ll get to him.

Today I applaud an eminently logical, but also heartfelt, response to mindless criticism of the suggestion that conceiving fewer children is a smart, clean, humane way to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
